Here is the official trailer of 'Chhapaak'.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, 'Chhapaak' stars Deepika Padukone as Malti, an acid attack victim who was attacked on a street in New Delhi in 2005.
'Chhapaak' is slated to release on 10th January 2020.

'Chhapaak' is a movie with a strong social message on how an acid attack victim's life changes after the attack and the medico-legal-social scenario that she has to go through to get justice.
After watching the trailer, it can be said that (no doubt) Deepika Padukone has given a fantabulous performance. However, it remains to be seen whether the movie can turn its strong social message into a Domestic Box Office success. More importantly, will 'Chhapaak' be able to have a positive impact on the masses so that no cases like these happen in the future and also bring about a change in the legal-socio dimension of the society so that any victim of any crime do not struggle to get justice and is not traumatised in the process.
